Victorian election coverage on 3AK and ABC774

With the 2002 Victorian State Election now scheduled for the end of this month, Talk 1116 3AK Drive Presenter Jeff Kennett has extended his Weekday Drive Program from 3pm – 6pm each day.

In his extended program Kennett will focus his political experience on the election campaign and “will supply information and viewpoints on the State Election that only a former Premier of the State can provide.”

3AK, along with Jeff Kennett’s 3pm – 6pm Weekday Drive Program will deliver “fair coverage to all parties and encourage stimulating, informative debate.”

On ABC Radio 774 Melbourne tomorrow (Friday 8 November) at 7.30pm, the Victorian Premier, Steve Bracks and the Leader of the Opposition, Robert Doyle will hold their first debate. The debate will be shown on ABC TV and broadcast live on ABC774.

The debate will be moderated by ABC TV journalist, Ian Henderson,
and will run for 60 minutes. Before the debate begins, from 7.00pm, ABC Radio’s Seamus Haugh will host discussion and analysis of
the election campaign.
