Illawarra broadcaster Peter ‘Croc’ McMurray died on February 10 after a few years of illness.
He was 77 years old.
Peter Hand shared these memories of Peter:
“Peter was one of the pioneer 2 Double O (i98) team in creative and sales. He also did sales at 2WL/WaveFM and presented programs at ABC Illawarra and Double O.
He also did sales at 2GB and ran his own advertising businesses doing creative and production. And a great deal more!
“He was one of the world‘s great originals and probably inspired everyone he met. He has a wonderful family – four kids and a gaggle of McGrandkids.
“The celebrant was Steve Parsons, also a long term friend.”
A great talent and fun to work alongside. Rest in Peace.
