Andrew Farr, General Manager of Great Lakes FM, Forster/Tuncurry, passed away on Sunday morning.
 
Andrew was born in the UK and came to Australia in 1980, eventually moving to the Central Coast with his wife in the mid 1990’s before purchasing a property near Nabiac 8 years later.
 
He joined Great Lakes FM in 2004 as a presenter before moving into the managers role a few years later.
 
Andrew is survived by his wife, Regina and their 3 children.

SCMA CEO, Ray Hazen, says, “Andrew was a strong supporter of Great Lakes FM Community Radio and the SCMA, he will be missed at the National Regional Rural and Sub Metro Broadcasters Conference. Our deepest condolences to Andrew’s family and to the team at Great Lakes FM.
