US reverses FCC new Media Rules

The United States House of Representatives has passed legislation which effectively reverses the recently modified FCC rules.

The FCC changes were hailed as a way of moving forward on issues of cross-media ownership and new-media. 400 members of the House of Reps voted against the changes and only 21 voted for.

The result may mean the congress will be in conflict with the White Hosue over this issue.
