The UAP and Clive Palmer are the big spenders : AirCheck Survey

With the approach of Election Day on Saturday, AirCheck Australia has tallied which parties and politicians have placed the most spots on radio, TV and Pay TV.

Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party was the most advertised party during the last five weeks running a massive 11,428 spots, equating to a 35.40% share of all political advertising and with spots aired across 41 radio stations and TV channels, Sydney talk station 2GB aired the most spots for the party.

Australian Labor Party took out second place trailing by only 182 commercials and in third place the Liberal Party of Australia aired less spots across more media outlets with 8,558 ads spread over 44 stations.

Sarah Henderson, Liberal For Corangamite, was the most advertised local politician with 380 spots placed in Geelong on BayFM and KRock.

Channel 7 Brisbane ran the most political advertisements during this time with a grand total of 1,428 spots, followed by Central Coast Hit Network station Sea 101.3.
