Triple M‘s ‘The Footy Voice’ competition crowns its next voice of the NRL, with Randwick local Alby Talarico announced the winner.

In the weeks leading up to the Grand Final, Triple M  has run the NRL competition in a bid to find its next commentary voice. Listeners with a dream of calling their favourite game sent in their best rugby league commentary, with Alby named the winner yesterday during Triple M’s NRL show.
 
Alby wins a commentating experience during the NRL Grand Final between Parramatta Eels and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles this Sunday. The call can be heard on the Triple M NRL app.
 
A panel of judges selected 12 finalists, eliminating game callers over several weeks, with Alby taking out the crown.
