Triple M is serving up Rockstars for lunch

Off the back of Oztober, Triple M will launch Generation X, a national Triple M Network music feature focusing on the ‘80’s, ‘90’s and selected ‘70’s.

Starting today, Friday November 1, Generation X will deliver a new lunchtime show from 12pm-1pm weekdays featuring music royalty for a selection of the lunchtime shows including heavy metal band Iron Maiden’s lead singer, Bruce Dickinson and American singer-songwriter and lead singer of rock band Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, who is in Australia for his latest tour.

Head of Music for the Triple M Network, Mickey Maher says: “Gen X showcases the greatest hits from our listeners favourite years in music.”

“Rob Thomas is no stranger to Australia or Triple M, we are pumped to have him host Gen X to  share his love of music and tell his stories with our audience while he tours the country.”
