Triple M has more NRL planned for 2015

Saturday afternoon footy is back on Triple M in 2015.

The station has extended its NRL coverage and added over 100 hours of League to the season for listeners in rugby league states.

Triple M’s salary cap is completely rooted,  because more footy means a bigger call team, and it’s ‘marvellous’ to announce that 12th Man Billy Birmingham will be a regular throughout the year. Also signing up is Eels recruit Anthony Watmough and Panthers playmaker Jamie Soward.

The Triple M NRL team already includes: Matty Johns, Ray Warren, MG, Ryan Girdler, Gorden Tallis, Peter Sterling, Joey Johns, Wendell Sailor, Paul Gallen, Bill Harrigan and add to that the insight from footy journos and experts like Paul Kent, Tony Squires, James Hooper, Steve Mascord, Jimmy Smith, Brent Read along with eyes of the game Dan Ginnane, Anthony Maroon and Ben Dobbin.

The station says “it’s not hard to see why Triple M has already become the Number 1 radio coverage for anyone not on the aged pension.”

Listen to Triple M Sydney, Brisbane and 17 of our footy loving stations around Australia or via the Triple M NRL app.

The 2015 season kicks off next Thursday, 5 March from Suncorp Stadium, followed by live action from four more round one games. Coverage of the Broncos Vs Rabbitohs game at Suncorp Stadium begins at 6pm. In coming weeks, matches to be covered include:

Saturday, 7 March Knights Vs Warriors – Hunter Stadium

Sunday, 8 March Panthers Vs Bulldogs – Sportingbet Stadium

Sunday, 8 March Sharks Vs Raiders – Remondis Stadium
