triple j’s One Night Stand is back and ready to take the country’s very best musicians to a small town for a rather big party.

triple j has provided the big live music experience to young people in Mildura (VIC), Dubbo (NSW), Dalby (QLD), Tumby Bay (SA), Alice Springs (NT), Gippsland (VIC), Collie (WA), Cowra (NSW), Port Pirie (SA), Ayr (QLD) and Natimuk (VIC).

Now, after taking submissions from regional towns all over the country, the station will be heading to a very special location on Saturday 9 April.

Tune in to triple j on Thursday 10 March as Veronica & Lewis reveal which lucky town is going to have this year’s One Night Stand.

Although the locatioin is still a closely guarded secret, what we do know is they’ll we’ll be joined by Boy & Bear, Alison Wonderland and Urthboy, who will each be bringing a handful of special guests with them.

triple j’s free all-ages regional concerts are one of the highlights of the year and everyone is invited.

 triple j will broadcast the entire event live on the radio, with Veronica & Lewis, Alex Dyson and Zan Rowe bringing you all the live sets, interviews and backstage goss.

Completing the full multi-platform experience triple j will also have online videos, photos and music news, so listeners can party live in person, live on the radio, online and social media or on demand online anytime, whenever and wherever they are.
