Tour Down Under on ABC Radio

Australian cycling legend Patrick Jonker will join the ABC Grandstand commentary team for coverage of the 2012 Tour Down Under.

 

Jonker, who won the Tour in 2004 and finished as high as 12th in five Tour de France rides, joins Peter Walsh, Matt Clinch and Clint Wheeldon from 15 to 22 January for the most comprehensive coverage of the Tour Down Under on radio.

 

The ABC’s extensive coverage will include all stages live, interviews with the riders and team managers before and after each stage; trackside commentary at each day’s start and finish, updates from the support teams following the peloton and a dedicated ABC Tour Down Under website with live streaming of each stage.
