Top 3 new brands on radio spot placement

This week AirCheck Australia is looking at the top New Brands on radio and their Spot Placement and Daypart Summary.

In this case, for a brand to be a New Brand it must not have been on air since 1 January 2010.

Did You Know… 

Hell’s Kitchen Australia / Blue Murder: Killer Cop is the top New Brand on radio between 1 – 15 August 2017 with 922 instances across 41 stations. Spots are most likely to be placed during the afternoon.

Blue Banner is the second top New Brand with 516 instances across 4 stations. Spots are most likely to be placed First or Last in an ad break during Mid-Dawn.

BHP Billiton was the third New Brand on air with 407 instances across 13 stations. 2GB aired the most spots with 54 instances. Spots are most likely to be placed in the afternoon.

‘Did You Know’ is based on commercial and song airplay data from radio and television stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Central Coast, Newcastle & Geelong.
