All radio stations on the Gold Coast ceased broadcasting for 1 hour yesterday as a storm tore through the city.

Luke Bradnam from Hot Tomato documented the event at his station on twitter as he took an unexpected break from presenting.

The storms are forecast to continue in the Gold Coast until Saturday.
