Kate falls off her high horse
It seemed a good fit. An insurance company and a mechanical cow (or bull  - hard to tell) to test how long Hughesy could stay on.

What could go wrong? Which was the whole point of sponsoring the event for insurance brand Bingle. Something could.

Nothing hardly ever goes wrong but as (bad) luck would have it, this time, with Kate Langbroek in the saddle, she was bucked off in 3 seconds flat, hitting her head badly enough to draw blood.

All this after she’d teased Hughesy for lasting (only) 30 seconds.

Convinced “it can’t be that hard” Kate happily hopped on to test her skills. In spite of the fact that she wasn’t supposed to and it was never part of the plan.

A St John’s Ambulance volunteer is always on hand when the bronco is operating and in over 300 events they have never been needed, until Kate had her turn.

The owner of the bucking bronco agreed “I’m not sure if it was the worst accident I’ve seen but it was certainly the funniest”.

Besides the impressive trickle of blood, which Kate herself described as “fantastic”, Kate walked away from the ride in one piece and in good spirits.
