ARN #1FM ACROSS THREE MARKETS

It’s a day of celebrating for Melbourne’s GOLD104.3 today. After seven years, the Classic Hits station helmed by Breakfast Team Brig & Lehmo jumped to #1FM, holding the top spot with FoxFM.
ARN’s national success continues with 97.3FM climbing yet again to increase their lead as Brisbane’s #1 station overall, and Adelaide’s Mix102.3 hold their lead as #1 station and #1FM Breakfast.
National ARN highlights include:

  • Melbourne

    • GOLD104.3 have tied for #1FM, holding the top spot for the first time in over seven years

    • Mix101.1 and GOLD104.3 both rise across Breakfast and overall

  • Sydney

    • Mix106.5 climb to 5.1% and Breakfast with Sami Lukis & Yumi Stynes rise to 4.0%

    • Rosso on Mix Drive show is up 0.6 to a 6.0% share

ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell says: “Today’s survey is a fantastic result for GOLD104.3 in Melbourne. It’s a great sign that the Classic Hits format is doing well with WSFM and now GOLD both taking out the #1FM spot this year. And rounding out our national success is Adelaide’s Mix102.3 and Brisbane’s 97.3FM. Their consistent success is testament to the strategy we have in place for the network and the team of people that help create these results”.

In Australia, ARN has a dual brand strategy – a MixFM and Classic Hits music stream in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. Reaching over 4 million listeners, ARN is one of the leading broadcasters in the commercially important 25-54 demographics in Australia.
