Survey 1: Which radio stations have leapt into 2017

“How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?”

Yep, it seems like yesterday Survey 8 results were handed down and everyone disappeared for their end of year break. Yet here we are on the eve of the first survey for 2017.

And while we can analyse the results from the final 2016 survey, they have no bearing on what will be revealed tomorrow at 9.30 AEST as it is not a rolling survey, hence the slate has effectively been wiped clean.

Equally,” said NOVA Entertainment’s Paul Jackson following Survey 8.

“We take the view from today and the synopsis from the entire year and it can help us with shaping and fixing and planning for where we may want to go next year.

“I think us as programmers have all got a lot of thinking to do about right, this is where we have ended up, this is the year we have had and what can we do to improve on that next year?”

So we ask ourselves, what impact Em Rusciano has had as the new 2DayFM breakfast host after Rove and Sam were moved sideways?

Has the loss of the much loved Robin Bailey had an impact on Brisbane’s 97.3FM after she helped the station to the top of the breakfast radio pile last year?

Will smooth continue to shine and can Fox in Melbourne continue to kick away from the pack?

Find out tomorrow morning with radioinfo when we share all the results, analysis and spin.
