Survey 1 is just days away

The first metro GFK survey for 2019 goes into the field on Monday and runs until March 2nd with the results released on Tuesday March 12th.

In Sydney line up changes in breakfast at 2Day FM, with the addition of Ash London who replaced Em Rusciano, and the revamping of the Triple M breakfast program now headed by Lawrence ‘The Moonman’ Mooney, will add more than a little interest to the first survey of the year.

Moonman in the Morning is a big gamble for the Triple M network and could impact Brisbane’s number 1 breakfast show where Mooney, who’s range of characters will continue to make guest appearances, has been replaced by Nick Cody
.

Brisbane remains very competitive at the top with Triple M, Nova and Hit leading a disappointing 97.3 who fell away during 2018.

In Adelaide Hit 107 will be hoping that Bec and Cosi will be able to continue to gain ground on Mix 102.3 and Jodie &Soda, while Nova 91.9 Adelaide are also improving with Dylan and Hayley performing well on Breakfast, up to a 9.8% share at the end of 2018.

Much of the interest in Melbourne will be on the continuing rise of Gold 104’s Christian O’Connell and the fortunes of Jase and PJ at KIIS. While Jase & PJ have continued to work hard at getting a small but loyal audience, the first half of 2019 will determine if they stay in Breakfast.

Perth’s Mix, Nova and Hit are leading a struggling 96FM who finished last year up at 8.6% (+1.0) and their Breakfast pairing of Paul and Lise ended the year with a 7.7% share of listening (+1.1).
