Stubbs leaving Mix 101.1 Melbourne

After a year of serving up breakfast at MIX101.1 Melbourne, Richard Stubbs will leave the station.

His last broadcast will be this Friday November 22. Station general manager Steve Smith said that the popular comedian was leaving “on amicable terms to develop new projects.”

Smith told radioinfo he and Stubbs had been “discussing the future of the breakfast show for several months.”

MIX101.1 is “well advanced” in appointing a replacement for the breakfast timeslot and an announcement will be made soon.
