In June, KIIS 1065 and Guy Sebastian made a surprise visit to St Joan of Arc Catholic Primary School in Haberfield, right in the middle of the school choir’s performance of Guy’s song, ‘Choir.’
Guy snuck in to surprise the kids who were understandably besides themselves with excitement. He then went on to perform his new single ‘Standing With You’ for the first time, reducing many of the kids to tears as they connected with his music.
Well, this week, the children from St Joan of Arc Choir decided it was time to surprise Guy and with the help of KIIS 1065 has been planning this for many weeks with Guy’s wife Jules in on the secret.
The choir rehearsed all school holidays and Jules had arranged for the family to go to Event Cinemas, George Street to “watch a movie.”
Little did Guy know, this was not the intention.
To Guy’s surprise, as he sat in the cinema with his family, a trailer came up on the big screen featuring students from the school who started to sing his new single ‘Love on Display’ from his just-released new album T.R.U.T.H.
Then, members of the St Joan of Arc Choir started popping up all around the cinema, singing live, and soon Guy was joined by the entire choir who filled the room.
