Special in Aisle 3: DMG substitutes Coles Radio for Novanation

Digital radio dance music listeners are not happy with DMG’s latest move, replacing Novanation with Coles Radio.

Novanation was switched off from digital radio just before Christmas, but is still streaming via the station’s website.

On the digital radio display, the station still bears the Novanation logo, but all metadata has gone and the station name now reads Coles Radio.

Dance music listeners in Sydney have the alternative Supernetwork station Gorilla, but listeners in most other capitals cities do not have an alternative dance music format.

Novanation’s listeners are not happy with the change, criticising the station in its online forum with comments such as: “what a joke,” and “down down with this rubbish.”

Several listeners who posted on the forum said they bought digital radios for Christmas just to hear Novanation, and were disappointed to find it gone.
