Zoe Brain, 15, a presenter and youth reporter at ZgenFM reached out to local candidates in the upcoming Federal election for the Southern Highlands seat of Whitlam to ask them questions relevant to people under the age of 25.

Zoe, who is attending the Southern Highlands Christian School, Bowral and is in Year 10 and has presented a weekly two-hour radio show at ZGenFM, since Grade 6. 

Zoe regularly interviews guests and her goal is to encourage and inspire youth through music, interviews and to have fun in the whole process.

Three candidates responded in time and, when Zoe went out to speak to them on the campaign trail, she was careful to maintain a balance and so asked each candidate the same questions covering the environment, youth mental health and the candidate’s own taste in music.
