Smooth FM and Sony’s Latest Compilation Album

Smoothfm and Sony Music announced the release of a third compilation album, smoothfm Classics available from 15 August.

smoothfm Classics will feature some of the greatest songs from smoothfm’s playlist. The compilation album features 49 classic tracks from smoothfm’s artists including Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are, The Bangle’s Eternal Flame, Lionel Ritchie‘s Say You, Say Me, Ronan Keating‘s If Tomorrow Never Comes, Tina Arena‘s Chains, Chicago‘s If you Leave Me Now and Billy Joel‘s Honesty.

The latest album will feature some of the best songs that our listeners continually request and will allow them to enjoy smoothfm’s playlist any time of the day.”

In January 2014 smoothfm partnered with Sony to release smoothfm – All Time Top 50, a compilation album that debuted and spent four weeks at number one on ARIA compilation charts, and in April smoothfm Presents – Music For Mum was released and also secured the number one spot.

smoothfm Classics will be available at major music and department stores including JB Hi Fi, Sanity, Big W, Target and Kmart and can be downloaded from iTunes from 15 August.

smoothfm launched in Sydney and Melbourne on 21 May 2012 with a unique soft adult contemporary music position. The fastest growing station in the radio landscape, smoothfm now has over 1.2 million listeners, is available on DAB+ nationally and has launched SMOOTH, a television extension of the brand on FOXTEL.
