The smooth chocolate extravaganza returns

The smooth Festival of Chocolate in The Rocks returns for a fourth year, for a two day chocolate extravaganza, on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August from 10am.

Set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour, the smooth Festival of Chocolate in The Rocks sees industry heavyweights Gelato Messina, Black Star Pastry and N2 Gelato headlining alongside new delights – Sweet Therapy‘s Bubble Waffles, Pimp My Chimney’s donut cones filled with soft serve and Zumbo Patisserie’s ski lodge will serve chocolate domes melted with hot chocolate.

New features to the line-up include The Baci Experience demonstrating how Italy’s loved chocolates are made, A Taste of the Rocks highlights a handpicked selection of what the precinct has to offer, Sydney Props Specialists’ Aztec Jungle Laneway and the Cellarmasters Touring Cellar Door providing festival-goers with the opportunity to enjoy some great wines.

Returning major sponsor Lindt and Sprugli will present The Lindt Lounge on Tallawolodah Place, featuring Master Chocolatier Thomas Schnetzler, where guests can create a personalised Lindt Excellence Block or indulge in the new Lindt Waffles on a Stick.

Australia’s Queen of Chocolate and Masterchef guest judge Kirsten Tibballs will headline The Callebaut Test Kitchen presented by Knebel Kitchens alongside Australian World Chocolate Masters representative Daria Nechiporenko from ICC Sydney, whilst Jean Michel Raynaud from La Renaissance Patisserie and Riccardo Falcone, corporate pastry chef at Rockpool Dining Group, will show why The Rocks has become a foodie destination.

Some additional delights for grownups include Mr Black Espresso Martini Bar, featuring Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur ‘Espresso Jar-tinis’ topped with tiramisu Nutie donuts, and Endeavour Beer will launch its exclusively brewed smooth Chocolate Ale. Guests can also see highly skilled, artisan chocolatiers showcasing their finest products in The Baci Chocolatiers’ Quarters.

The smooth Festival of Chocolate in The Rocks will celebrate all things chocolate, over two indulgent days.
