Longtime Sydney jock Trevor Sinclair has concluded his summer fill-in on South-East Queensland’s river949.

Formerly a fixture of Sydney Radio from 1978 – 2001, he joined “the riverlution” in early December, relieving The Breakky Guys – Deano, Halina & Foggy.

No stranger to the Breakfast slot, Sinclair previously co-hosted MIX106.5’s Morning Mix with Jean Kittson. “A part of me really had forgotten the energy you need to muster when you’re waking before sunrise” he told radioinfo, “finding and creating relevant, topical, interesting pieces when most of the people and personalities we usually lampoon are in summer hibernation is always a challenge … thank God for Santa Claus and Peter Beattie”.

He had previously been heard in the region hosting several national syndications throughout the 80s and 90s.

He says “working with the young, vibrant team at river949” was “the best Christmas present he could have.”

Trevor Sinclair now returns to Sydney for his regular corporate video and voice work, he will also continue providing in-flight music programs for Qantas, Royal Brunei, Malaysian and Air Vanuatu.
