Scotty and Nige auction off lead truck for 2014 convoy for cancer families

Yesterday morning, 104.7 Canberra’s breakfast duo Scotty and Nige raised $100,300.00 for the Cancer Support Group with the lead truck Dutch Auction. Local trucking company TJ’s Transport won the lead spot with a bid of $32,000.00.

This is for the annual Canberra Convoy for Cancer Families, to be held this Sunday Feburary 2nd. Information on the convoy can be found here
 
This year Scotty and Nige will be driving in the Convoy, which this year will involve over 400 trucks and 100 motorbikes taking part. Convoy for Cancer creator and former Canberra now Wollongong radio legend Marty Haynes is driving a truck up for Sunday’s Convoy and bringing some mates with him to join the boys.  
 
The final total raised is expected to be well in excess of $150K.
