SCA’s digital engagement nails radio

For the third month in a row Southern Cross Austereo’s digital assets are leading the radio industry, according to Nielsen’s monthly Digital Ratings recently released for April 2016.

SCA is also leading the charge in social media engagement with a domestic engagement of 2.4m on Facebook, higher than any other radio competitors in the country.

April produced the biggest daily audience ever seen across SCA’s platforms with 357,758, Average Daily Unique Browsers, #1 for any radio group.

In addition, a Unique Digital Audience (UA) of 1.349 million visited SCA’s digital platforms throughout April 2016. The Hit Network is the #1 website for radio brands in Australia with 716,000 UA.

SCA’s Chief Creative Officer Guy Dobson said: “Consistency is key for us at SCA; we are very much focused on continuing to provide our audience with the best and most engaging content. These current figures, particularly for social media, show that we are right on target and we only expect that our engagement figures will continue to grow.”
