Are Brisbane B105 late night Duo Sam and Dom going back to the station that gave them their start, 96five? Well, technically, yes they are.
 
The late night young guns of SCA who’ve been described as the next Hamish and Andy, held many shifts in their even younger days at 96five before being offered the late night slot on B105.
 
But just before they left 96five they recorded a whole month worth of Christmas shows which never fully aired.
 
“Sam and Dom were one of our best finds, and came to us straight out of high school.” Those guys had an amazing work ethic, and always gave 96five way more content than we could air” It’s a credit to them both,”  96five PD Liam Renton said.
 
So while 96five’s regular night host takes a Christmas break, 96five has rehashed, re-edited and revived a whole month’s worth of late night shows , all about Christmas. And it’s airing directly up against Sam and Dom on B105.
 
“It’s great content,” says Liam. “It’s a nightly Christmas countdown show every night from 9-12. And although some of the material may have aired before, it’s been re-jigged with some of their material never actually airing.
 
“It may be a little cheeky placing the boys directly against themselves, but we wonder if they may have a sneaky radio on in the background between B105 breaks to see how there sounding at the exact same time over at 96five all month long.”

Sam and Dom can be heard on b105 10-12 Mon to Wed and on 96five 9-12 Mon to Friday throughout December.
