RTRFM asks Perth to share the love

Perth community radio station RTRFM 92.1’s annual subscriber drive RADIOTHON has kicked off.
 
This year is particularly significant, with the station reaching the major milestone of 40 years since hitting Perth airwaves as 6UWA on April 1st 1977.
 
In RTRFM’s 40th year the station’s presenters, volunteers and staff are calling on their listeners and supporters to SHARE THE LOVE and pledge support to the radio station which has championed West Australian arts, music and social issues for four decades.
 
The love in kicked off this morning on Breakfast with Caitlin and will last 10 days, finishing on Sunday August 20 after the conclusion of Sunday Morning Coming Down at 12 noon.
 
Throughout the 10-day Radiothon extravaganza, the RTRFM studios will be inundated with special guests across the program grid – from appearances of former presenters and visits from local personalities to live performances from musicians.
 
Subscribers have the chance to win a smorgasbord of other prizes, including all 90 RTRFM Feature albums.
