“Ross will get a lot of female attention….and so will Charli.”

Breakfast on the Gold Coast, Part 2

They are nominated for an ACRA this weekend in the Best On Air Team category and the Gold Coast’s 90.9 Sea FM’s breakfast show with Galey, Ross and Charli is not taking the nomination lightly.

“I think it is important for radio. It allows us to applaud each other as an industry and gives us all something to strive for. Like the dream of a gold star in primary school…makes you try harder!” says former Hi-5 member Charli Robinson.

And while Charli has made the transition to radio she hasn’t left television behind.

“I’ve been filming with Getaway these past couple of years, it fits in really well with breakfast radio. I recharge with Bikram yoga and relax with family having a wine with cheese!”

So with Charli sweating it out at Bikram and then rehydrating with a wine, how do the boys wind down after a busy week on breakfast radio.

“Spending time with my four kids and their sport,” says Paul Gale.

Looks like this breakfast team don’t knock back cans of fizzy drink to stay awake, then head home to the couch for a nanna nap.

“I’ve just completed my PT qualifications,” says Ross Wallman.

Which may have rubbed Galey up the wrong way.

“It annoys me that Ross goes to the gym more than me, I put it down to the fact he doesn’t have to look after four kids.”

And while Charli is as just as fanatical about sport as Galey and Ross…

“I love UFC and watch way more sport on weekends than the boys.”

There is something that annoys her…

“Galey is frustrating when it’s AFL draft season, I hear all about it every time the microphone is off.”

The team is also presenting an award at the ACRA’s and will no doubt look fit and fantastic on stage with their Gold Coast sun kissed cheeks.

“Ross will get a lot of female attention….and so will Charli,” laughs Paul.
