Hot FM WA breakfast co-host Rosie Panetta was put under pressure this week thanks to her co-host Ryan Jon surprising her with the responsibility of delivering the world’s greatest joke of all time.

On Monday, Ryan revealed that without Rosie’s knowledge, he’d promised a Facebook Buy, Swap and Sell group that Rosie would tell the greatest joke of all time and that someone had purchased the naming rights.

On Tuesday they spoke to the buyer of the joke who asked for the money to be donated to The Smith Family. Greg Ryan-Gadsden, the GM of The Smith Family called the show and said, “It’s a big responsibility, Rosie.  If you don’t tell the best joke ever the children may go without.”

On Wednesday comedian Dave Hughes gave some advice to Rosie about telling jokes.

On Thursday morning Dan and Maz from the drive show called in to say they’d woken up early just to hear the greatest joke of all time.

Rosie said:  “I never promised anything. I’m not a joke teller. Ryan has set this whole thing up – and all the hype is ridiculous. Do you know embarrassing it is when someone comes up to on the street and asks ‘so, what’s the joke’, and you’ve got nothing to say back to them?”

So what joke did she end up telling after all that hype and advice?
