Rod Brice has been appointed Content Director of 919 Sea FM & 92.7 MIX FM on the Sunshine Coast.
Brice has spent recent years running his own programming, research and consulting business. He has held a number of senior roles in his career; including Group Content Director and Regional Research and Operations Manager, with RG Capital Radio, Macquarie Regional Radio works and Southern Cross Austereo
Sunshine Coast Broadcasters General Manager John Williams said:
“It’s quite a coup for us to attract someone of Rod’s experience and calibre to the role. Given 2015 has been our most successful year to date (No. 1 & 2 stations in the market) we look forward to Rod being part of our future leadership team”.
Brice said:
“I had my first taste of programming back at 4SS in Nambour which evolved into 92.7 MIX FM. I cannot wait to be part of the winning team at 92.7 MIX FM and 919Sea FM. My goal is not just sustainability – it is continued growth of the talent, listeners and business. Given that I have been consulting to both these stations for over 2 years, I know the staff very well and am proud to now work even closer with this team.”
Brice will start in the new role Monday October 12.
