Rob Logan joins ARN as WS FM Program Director

In the latest in a series of changes within ARN’s programming ranks Rob Logan has been appointed to the role of Program Director for Sydney’s WS FM.

Logan, a long standing and highly successful former Austereo PD is replacing Graeme Edwards who leaves in 2 weeks, after steering WS to some top ratings results in the past 12 months.

WS is currently sitting in second place in the Sydney ratings after a year of solid growth.

Logan is a long standing associate of ARN’s programming consultant Brad March, and his appointment signals a more aggressive approach to programming from ARN in 2006.

After leaving Austereo in 2003 Logan joined the pay tv channels Music Max and Channel V as Group Director of Marketing & Programming.

ARN’s Sydney General Manager John Williams has told radioinfo it is a perfect time for Logan to join WS FM:

“Rob is a great addition to WS FM and we look forward to harnessing his
experience and his vision to continue building on the success of the
station, especially among our target audience of listeners aged 25 to
54.

‘’We are confident that Rob’s passionate and creative approach to music
marketing and programming will see WS FM reach new heights in the
year ahead – and we look forward to a new phase of development under
his leadership.’’

Williams also thanked Graeme Edwards for his “outstanding contribution to the success of the station, especially
during the past 12 months.”

Rob Logan says he is very excited about joining the winning team at WS.

In other station movements, WS breakfast show producer Peter Clay will move within the Network to become producer for Melbourne’s MIX 101.1’s new breakfast show.
