Roadtrip Forever campaign gains international recognition in Facebook Studio Awards

Southern Cross Austereo has been recognised as an international finalist at this year’s Facebook Studio Awards for its innovative Roadtrip Forever  campaign.

Created for Victoria’s Transport Accident Commission (TAC), the campaign was featured on the prestigious shortlist of finalists from around the world, in the Facebook For Good category; given to work made for charitable causes or not-for-profit organisations.

Created in 2013, Roadtrip Forever combined traditional storytelling with social media technology to send a powerful message to 18-25 year olds about the potentially life-threatening effects of speeding and distracted driving. By integrating users and their friends’ Facebook content, the campaign entertained and engaged audiences, resulted in an immersive online video and deeply personalised experience.

In what is a true testament to the skills of SCA’s talented staff, the campaign has continued to gain industry accolades, including awards in two categories at the 2013 Branded Content and Entertainment Awards.
