But this was no ordinary wedding.
Laura ‘LV’ Viglino (Executive Producer of Sydney’s WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda in the Morning Breakfast Show) married Bruno Bouchet (Ex-2Day FM Producer turned Presenter on podcast Matt & Bruno – The Probe).
Over 100 guests attended the twilight wedding at Alexandria’s The Grounds with a large percentage on and off-air radio industry friends from across 10 radio stations including WSFM, KIIS Sydney & Melbourne, The Edge, Triple M, 2Day, Nova, Melbourne’s Fox FM and Brisbane’s 4KQ and 97.3FM
Recognisable on air talent included former Big Brother winner / Fox FM’s Michael Beveridge (Bruno’s Best Man), WSFM’s Ron E Sparks and newsreader Sarah Forster, The Edge 96.ONE’s Mike E & Emma, 4KQ’s Laurel Edwards, former Mix Breakfast host turned face of Foster’s Lager UK commercials Anthony ‘Becks’ Toohey, Triple M’s Matt Simpson, and, of course, Jonesy & Amanda with fellow WSFM team members David Post, Charlie Fox, Mindy Thomas, Lucy Koorey, Jaime Pace, Adam Price and Annette George. KIIS 1065 Music Director Brad McNichol scored an invite, along with former Executive Producer Simon Greally. Alex Day from KIIS 101.1 was there along with Greg Cathcart from 97.3FM.
Brisbane’s 4KQ’s Breakfast Presenter Laurel Edward’s husband country music star Troy-Cassar Daley performed a surprise song for the happy couple.
Testament to the strong friendship that Jonesy & Amanda have with their producing team (apparently Jonesy did it for a case of beer), the breakfast duo emceed in their usual sparkling witty form and joined the packed dance floor until late into the night.
The couple are honeymooning in Europe.
