SEN host Sam McClure discusses Survey #3 with Pacific Star CEO Craig Hutchison. 

‘We are brick-by-brick building a new audience and a broader church,’ said Hutchison of the station’s increase from 3.1% to 3.4% for Survey 3. 

Hutchison cited the commencement of the AFL season and Chief Sports Caller, Gerard Whately, as factors in the growth. Since taking the chair, (9am-12pm Monday-Thursday) Whateley saw a 0.5% increase in share from 3.2% to 3.7% on the previous survey.

“To grow 23,000 listeners survey-on-survey and hit 310,000 listeners is a great result,’ said Hutchison.

“It’s encouraging to see sports fans responding so positively to our renewed focus on live sport and our revamped line-up in what is a pretty competitive market.”
