Radio veteran to be farewelled

There will be a send-off tomorrow (Wednesday, September 28th) for radio veteran Jamie Cammell.

Jamie passed away last Wednesday; he had been battling depression for a while.

The evening starts at 6pm at Johnny Ringo’s in Fortitude valley.

There will be some nibbles on and an open mic. 

Jamie had a long radio career working in Ipswich, Mackay and Darwin.

He was the head of Corporate Radio and also ran other media businesses such as On Hold Now and Expo Radio.
