Radio still loves Tina Turner, Kygo’s remix up 251 spins to No.20: AirCheck

This week Kygo’s remix of Tina Turner’s ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ was the biggest mover on the AirCheck National Radio Airplay Chart, up a massive 251 spins, rising to No.20.
 
The track earned 321 spins across 17 stations, with the strongest support coming from the KIIS network, with Sydney and Melbourne adding 39 and 35 spins respectively. The Hit network moved from a few spins last week to high rotation this week, while the Nova network, KRock and NewFM all added the track this week.

The Top 3 were only spins apart, but after gaining 121 spins, Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo snagged the top spot with ‘Savage Love’. Across Australia, 21 stations backed the release, with The Edge Sydney ahead of the competition, adding 62 instances, followed by KIIS Sydney and Melbourne.
 
The Hit Network pushed the track ahead adding an extra 66 spins, upping airplay by almost 30% while Star 104.5 on the Central Coast doubled spins.

In it’s fifth week since release, Katy Perry’s ‘Smile’ was up 109 spins, lifting to No.26. The Nova network assisted with the rise, quadrupling spins for the track, similarly, KIIS Melbourne went from 14 spins last week to 35 this week.
