Radio hosts in Covid quarantine

Jackie O and Dave Hughes are self isolating after filming of The Masked Singer was suspended due to corona virus.

A crew member tested positive for COVID-19, forcing the cast and crew into isolation.

There are now seven cases connected to the show’s Melbourne production location according to Victoria’s Department of Health and Human Services.

A statement from Channel Ten says:

Production of The Masked Singer has been immediately suspended as a result of a crew member receiving a positive test result for COVID-19. The health and safety of the community and our staff and production parties is our number one priority.

The entire production team, including the masked singers, the host and panellists are now in self-isolation. They are all being monitored closely and are in constant contact with medical authorities…

Under Victoria’s stage 4 restrictions, most news and media outlets are deemed essential services, so production was able to continue until the outbreak. The production did not have a studio audience this season due for covid safety reasons.

Host Osher Gunsberg plus other panelists Dannii Minogue and Urzila Carlson and the celebrity masked singers are all in isolation along with the entire crew.
