Pure Gold Live raises $100,000 for bush fire relief

Now in its fifth year, the hugely popular Pure Gold Live, hosted by WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda, was a great success.

In its biggest line-up yet, the show featured Australian rock legends including Richard Clapton, Ross Wilson, Glenn Shorrock, 1927, The Radiators, Steve Kilbey (The Church), Pseudo Echo, Wendy Matthews, Dragon and the Eurogliders.

To assist with bushfire relief, this year 100% of ticket sales will be donated to charities WIRES and BlazeAid.

Held over two nights at West HQ’s brand new Sydney Colleseum Theatre, Pure Gold Live raised an impressive $50,000, which was matched by West HQ, meaning a total of $100,000 will go to the charities.
