Nova Brisbane announcer David Lutteral is under pressure from management to apologise for his behaviour.

radioinfo initially reported that Lutteral had been assaulted on Sunday night with a fractured skull, cheekbone and nose. Yesterday after reviewing the CCTV footage Lutteral chose not to press charges against the man who had come forward to police claiming responsibility.

The Courier-Mail has learned that this man has previously worked as a bouncer at a city nightclub.

Nova manager Sean Ryan did not comment yesterday but the station is believed to be concerned about its reputation.

Lutteral’s one-year contract with Nova expires at the end of the year. His roles with Channel 9’s NRL Footy Show and on the board of the Queensland Academy of Sport are secure.
