OM shanti, shanti: ABC Yoga podcast live at Parramasala

Classic Flow, the podcast from ABC Classic FM that pairs guided yoga and meditation practice with a bespoke classical music playlist, will appear in a special extended live format as part of the Parramasala Festival in Parramatta on March 10 and 11.

Participants at the two free 90-minute events will glide through a low-impact yoga practice in Prince Alfred Square with respected practitioner Lara Zilibowitz, to a live soundtrack of classical music performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellows.

Classic Flow is Australia’s first podcast for yoga-loving classical music fans and has been created by ABC Classic FM to appeal to busy yogis who want to be able to take a short-form class with a favourite instructor at their own convenience. There are 22 meditation and asana-based episodes available for discovery on the podcast feed or online.

“We’re pleased to bring Classic Flow to new audiences at one of the premiere cultural events in NSW,” said Chris Scaddan, the ABC’s Head, Music.

“And we’re looking forward to showcasing these talented Australian musicians amidst Parramasala’s fantastic festival offer of markets, music, dance, theatre and film.”
