NovEnt judges their own awards and wins in all categories

Last night NOVA Entertainment held their annual NOVA Entertainment Awards

It was held in a place which normally hosts more losers than winners – the Grand Ballroom at Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse.

But last night, NovEnt people won every event.

By now you may have guessed that these awards are not like the ACRAs where talent competes with talent from other stations and networks.

The NOVA Entertainment Awards are exclusively for the company’s own employees – and not the on-air talent but the the oft forgotten people who make radio work outside the studio. Over 200 flew in from around the country to attend the national staff event that rewards and recognises employees.

Staff can nominate and recognise their colleagues, or put forward their own individual or team campaigns and initiatives. It also a chance for the NOVA Entertainment Group Executives and CEO Cathy O’Connor to recognise high achievers across the company.

The gathering was treated to a live performance from Conrad Sewell and Thandi.
