Nova TV adds vision to radio

As reported on radioinfo in April, Nova has added visuals to its online offering with Nova TV.

The service is now up and running via the Nova website, aimed at enhancing the audience experience for those who are online.

Not only does it replay video clips of songs being played on air, it also allows listeners to play selected playlist tracks on demand. It also gives another replay platform for the many videos being made by each show, such as Fitzy and Wippa’s stunt videos and Smallzy’s interviews.

Nova TV integrates pre-roll and in-stream video advertising into the feed.

It’s the result of a new partnership with Vadio, who specialise in utilising broadcast audio playlist data and converting it into engaging mobile and social content.
 

Emily Rayner, NOVA Entertainment Group Digital Director told radioinfo before the launch:
