The Nova Network, together with Network Ten’s MasterChef Australia, have announced the winners of Nova’s First Class and 50K – Girls vs Boys’ edition competition.

Over the past four weeks Nova and MasterChef Australia gave thousands of listeners across Australia the chance to win one of two first class experiences.

Yesterday afternoon Nova’s national drive team Meshel, Tim and Marty rewarded one male and one female listener with the prize of first class travel for the winner and three friends to their chosen destination and $50,000 spending money each.

Meshel, Tim & Marty surprised the winner of the boy’s trip by showing up to his workplace in a truck that had been turned into a holiday beach scene with bikini clad models, in order to give a small taste of his potential holiday. 

The Drive team also contacted the winner of the girls’ holiday by phone and Nova’s Adelaide breakfast team Lewis and Lowe, arrived to her home address on a Nova big red bus dressed as pilots. Last night, she was taken by limousine to a hotel in the Adelaide city and this morning appeared on the Lewis and Lowe breakfast show. 

First Class and 50k is the latest in Nova’s new ‘listener led competitions’ and follows on from other Nova national contests including Postcode Payday and $150,000 Cash or the Car.
