Nova and KIIS share over 25% of their playlists in Sydney

AirCheck Australia has been comparing the music played on Sydney radio over the last four weeks and the greatest crossover was shared between Nova 969 and KIIS1065, with over a quarter of all tracks heard on both stations.
 
2DayFM wasn’t far behind sharing 24.6% of its playlist with Nova.

AirCheck Client Services Executive, Riarne Gale says “2DayFM played the widest range of songs, spinning 1,195 different tracks, while Nova spun the most music with 8,747 instances in this time.”

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s collaboration, ‘I Don’t Care’ was the top track amongst Nova, KIIS and 2Day, tallying 549 spins during the four week period.

AC stations WSFM and smoothfm shared 276 tracks, equating to a 23.3% crossover with Eric Carmen’s ‘Hungry Eyes’ the top shared track between the two stations, earning 55 spins.
