Triple J is using its website to interact with listeners who are interested in the Noise Remix competition it has been running.

The judging of entries in the competition, where listeners had to remix versions of various songs, is now in progress. Silverchair, The Waifs and Downsyde are listening to all the entries sent in by listeners for the remix project, to pick out their favourites – which will be played on triple j.

But listeners can’t wait to hear how the remixes sound, they can visit the triple j website and have a listen to a few MP3s of entries sent in by budding young producers.

The entires are “totally different versions of ‘London Still’, ‘El Questro’ and ‘Tuna In The Brine’.”

Robbie Buck will playg a few noise remixes this week on his Home and Hosed program from 9pm.
