Niall Power & Adam Bowie join the speaker line up for Radiodays Europe

Niall Power is Head of Station Sound with the market leading Beat 102-103, Ireland’s first regional radio station based in Waterford city, Ireland.
 
Niall started his radio career in 1997 with Dublin’s city based CHR station 98FM and was there when the world renowned radio promotion “The Fugitive” was brought to Ireland for the first time.
 
Aside from his managerial programming role, Niall has anchored the station’s flagship morning show, Beat Breakfast, for the last twelve years.
 
For the last four years, Niall has been a member of the Music training board of Learning Waves (Ireland’s training network for the commercial radio sector) and is a regular judge for the Irish national radio awards.
 
 
Adam Bowie is a Business Development Manager for the BBC World Service and has worked across this portfolio, carrying out strategy, and helping extend the BBC’s podcast carriage globally.

 
In 2018 he helped launch commercialisation BBC podcasts outside the UK, working with Acast.
 
Previously, he worked for Absolute Radio and Virgin Radio in the United Kingdom, looking after research and digital strategy.
 
There he worked closely with the UK’s radio ratings body, RAJAR, and helped introduce targeted audio advertising for Absolute Radio’s digital stream.
