2RRR’s next broadcast training course begins at the end of February. Applications are open and people wanting to get their start in community radio are being urged to sign up for the course now.

The course will be led by Steve Ahern and will include practical training sessions as well as detailed theory background to areas of radio including announcing & presentation, studio operation, production and interviewing.

There are 8 weeks of classes and practical sessions. Classes are held in the evening and a range of times for practical sessions are scheduled throughout the week. The next course begins on Monday February 28.
