A new Tech session at the Radio Show

This years Radio Show in Dallas has added a full day educational conference, Tech Tuesday, aimed at providing engineers with practical and timely knowledge to improve overall station efficiency and performance, as well as to further engineers’ career development.
 
The day will feature some of the industry’s leading subject-matter experts on topics such as audio-over-IP, RF transmission, visual radio and streaming audio, remote backhaul, audio production and processing, data acquisition and protection, hybrid radio and more.
 
The Opening Keynote will be by 2019 NAB Radio Engineering Achievement Award winner and well-known radio consulting engineer Gary Cavell, president, Cavell, Mertz & Associates, on the importance of technology in radio, the value of continuing education for radio engineers and more.
 
The afternoon sessions will include What’s Next in Radio Tech?, a look at what the future holds for radio technology, presented by a diverse panel of visionaries hoping to provide insights into what lies ahead for the industry.
 
The panel includes Paul McLane, editor, Radio World, Michele Laven, president, Strategic Partnerships Group, iHeartMedia, Steve Shultis, chief technology officer, New York Public Radio, Nick Piggott, project director, RadioDNS, Joe D’Angelo, senior vice president, Radio, Xperi and
