Grant Broadcasters has appointed a new General Manager for the local stations 5RM, Magic and Kix, based in The Riverland.

Greg Bakker commenced in the role last week.
 
“Greg brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise with an impressive track record in helping local businesses achieve success through marketing and a focus on localism and community involvement,” said Regional GM Grant Broadcasters VIC/SA Peter Upton.
 
“With a history in media expanding back more than 3 decades and being in management positions for more than 20 years, Greg is well credentialed to guide our stations into the future.”

 
Greg Bakker told radioinfo: “I had been managing the stations in Port Lincoln for over 5 years, a part of the Grant Broadcasters group, before taking a role in NSW.

“When this opportunity arose, I couldn’t resist the temptation to get back to regional South Australia and work again with this very progressive radio company.”
