New release brings Shawn Mendes back to the chart

The Canadian songwriter’s new track ‘In My Blood’ spun 435 times. 


This is the first release from Mendes since his 2016 album ‘Illuminate’. Out of the 16 stations giving the track airtime, the Nova network has been spinning the track the most, averaging 37 spins on each station, while Beats1 accounted for 33 spins.

Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’ has moved inside the Top 5, up 108 spins on last week, in at No.3. Dua Lipa was in the country last week performing solo shows while also supporting Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour.

Charlie Puth had two tracks enter the Top 40 this week, both making sizeable jumps – ‘Done For Me’ with Kehlani was up 156 spins to No.30 while ‘Sober’ featuring G-Eazy gained 146 plays. Both collaborations were our second and third biggest movers of the week.

New Zealand singer/songwriter Robinson has entered the chart, in at No.40 with ‘Nothing To Regret’. After its first play five weeks ago ‘Nothing To Regret’ has gained traction, with airplay across 17 stations last week – FoxFM Melbourne and Nova1069 spun the track the most, accounting for 30 plays each.
